ERC Starting Grant for Jad C. Halimeh
The prestigious Grant of 1,5 mio Euro allows Jad to bring his research towards the next generation of quantum simulators of gauge theories to a new level.
The European Research Council funds basic research projects at the highest level.
With his proposal Jad was able to convince the European Research Council to grant him on e of the highest awards for excellent young scientists in Europe. With this funding, the theorist and his independet research group intend to advance current concepts of quantum simulation, particularly for higher-dimensional gauge theories and their far-from-equilibrium quantum many-body dynamics.
