Here you can find information on scheduled seminars and events in the Theory Division.
Besides conferences, workshops and project meetings, there are three weekly group seminars: The Theory Seminar, which features talks from PhD students in the group and invited visitors, as well as two internal weekly focused seminars on Quantum Many-Body Physics and Quantum Information and Computation.
The EQUAHUMO Meeting will take place at the MPQ. The goal of the project is to develope efficient quantum algorithms for Hubbard models above absolute zero. Thereby tasks shall be solved that cannot be solved with classical computers.

Ana Asenjo García, Columbia University Dissipation and fluctuations are known to be sources of order in complex non-linear systems formed by many agents, as they lead to the generation of self-organized spatial or temporal structures.
