With the advent of quantum computers and simulators, there is a constant demand on the construction of qubit-inspired models with small local Hilbert spaces, but demonstrating phenomena of continuum field theories. In this talk, we examine two such scenarios that can be realized with qubit-regularized field theories: first the physics of asymptotic freedom in 2d O(3) models, and second the physics of conformal dimensions of large charge operators at the Wilson-Fisher fixed point in 3d.
